I went looking for a mongrel, at Birmingham dogs home a few months ago and came away with a husky who chose me. I had teething problems for the first month as every time I walked him in a park he would make a bee line to runners and girls between the age of 5 and 9. I can only presume that his first family liked running and had young daughters. One day after about a month he just lay down in the middle of the park, I sat next to him and we must have stayed there for about 1/2 an hour. Since then he's never chased a runner or made a bee line for young girls. My first experience of been a husky owner.
