Caylla
Hello! I'm curious to see if someone could help me figure out why my husky smells so bad! Let me start out by saying I have two Siberian huskies, both 1 and a half years old (only a week apart in age). One is gray with short hair and the other is red with longer hair. My red husky smells awful. The smell seems to be around the back end of his back where his tail starts. it smells like vomit. Let me also note that he has never blown his coat. He gets bathed regularly as he likes to swim and play in water. I don't do anything differently with him as I do with my other husky. I just don't understand how I have two huskies who do everything together and one can smell fine and the other smells like he just rolled out of a dumpster! Any tips??? BBava
Hello, It sounds like anal glands issue since the smell comes from the root of his tail.

Emma
I know that when ice released his anal glands it stank to high heaven. I had to scrub the sofa and wash the cushions, it was god awful!
