ctripplins
Our 5 month old persistently jumps up on us/couch/wherever we are, to get attention and also likes to chew on hands while doing so. Any tips? We tell him off and/or no and put his paws on the ground, but he is relentless. He is a typical stubborn playful husky puppy. Andy
When he jumps up at you (or visitors) gently take hold of his front paws and hold them for a few seconds. You'll quickly find they don't like that too much and will start to try to pull his paws away. Let them go and he'll drop to the ground. Continue this every time and quite quickly you'll find that he stops jumping up at you. However everyone in the family must do the same or he'll learn who he can and can't get away with it.
