pulling fur out of tail

First off Welcome to the forum

When we rescued Darwin 5 years ago, he came to us with his tail stripped of fur.

It was down to stress from him being cooped up in a small flat for 8/10 hours per day

No toilet breaks during that time and with little to no exercise and nothing to keep him occupied..

As Nix has asked has anything changed at home?

Is he getting enough mental / physical stimulation?

I had a cat who used to do this. Like Andy said, it was stress related. We had to try to find the trigger and deal with the underlying cause. Once we worked that one out, the behaviour stopped and the fur grew back.
