Luna101
Hello everyone! I will be bringing my husky pup Luna home in a few weeks, when she is 8 weeks old. I'm not a first time dog owner, but this will be my first Siberian. I do have a question, about food for Luna. The breeder currently has the pups on Acana Pacifica. It says on the bag that it's good for all life stages, but I'm wondering if it's good to keep the pup on. I know Acana does sell a puppy stage food as well, so I'm not sure if I should stick with the Pacifica or mix it with some of Acanas puppy brand also. Any ideas? Here is a picture of Luna at 4 weeks.

Jay
hello and welcome! I agree to keep her on the food from the breeder for the first few weeks at least, to give her time to settle in. We use Taste of the Wild and have had great results.

Luaia
Hello! I would keep her on the same food for a few weeks. Remember when you switch her food do it slowly. I've also read on puppy food and many articles say to feed puppies the "large breed puppy" food as it is made specifically for puppies and gives them all the proteins and nutrients a puppy needs to grow healthy. I feed my pup Canidae Large Breed Puppy. She loves it. Good luck, your pup is beautiful!
