Julie73
My husky is 18 weeks now and has always been a lovely light grey and white colour..bizarrely yesterday within the space of 2 hours his coat changed completely! He now has a distinct dark grey line around his neck where his back has turned a dark grey and he has dark grey patches on his tail and eyebrows aswell as torso. I expected he'd change slightly as he got older, it's just so weird that this literally changed in the space of a couple of hours. Anyone else had experience of this? Andy
Several things come to mind. 1. he's been playing in the coal bunker. 2. you accidentally swapped him at the dog park. 3.His guard hairs are coming through the undercoat and so his colours are showing through. him being a Husky . . . at my house I'd be going for number 1. If you're a bit ditzy then number 2 the rest of the forum . . . probably number 3
jmscott
· Hidden Hidden Probably a mix of lighting change, and baby coat falling out. 1 Link to comment
Ashlee101
I've known my husky since she was 9 weeks old, although the only adopting her at 7 months old. She was very light grey when she was little but as she's gown she's developed a lot of black and red in her fur. This is normal as they grow
