BingBlaze n Skyla
Has your regular vet seen him? They might be able to recommend a specialist

Mazz
If you have a state university, you might check to see if they have a veterinary clinic, and give them a call.
jmscott
· Hidden Hidden Have you contacted his breeder? Did both parents have the basic eye testing done? I would contact them and let them know whats going on. I'd say its worth finding an upcoming eye clinic at a dog show near you. They are listed at www.offa.org Link to comment
cdawg
yea I tried to contact the breeder but seems I cant ever get a hold of any 1 and its really frustrating
jmscott
· Hidden Hidden If its okay with you, you can PM me the name of the breeder and I can see if any of the people I know have information on the dogs they have. Juvenile cataracts often run in the line, so if theres a history of it with related dogs, it may give some insight. Link to comment
cdawg
His name is kevin he sells his puppies at a local flea market idk his last name
jmscott
· Hidden Hidden The flea market may be the biggest hint. It is VERY unlikely this gentleman is testing for inherited diseases or putting much of an investment into the health of their puppies. It may be worth it to ask your vet to recommend an ophthalmology specialist. I'm not sure where in the state you are, but here is that calendar that lists upcoming clinic. http://www.ofa.org/clinics.html, you will want to look for CAER or OFA Eye Certification Registry. If you use one of the clinics it usually costs about $30-$35 for the evaluation by a certified canine ophthalmologist. Link to comment
