ZachAttack
My vet told me the best time to get my bitch spayed would be 3 months after her next season but she hasn't had one since the beginning of last November. I thought she would of had one by now. She is in good health and is as energetic and happy as ever but should I be concerned and if not get her spayed anyway?? She is 2 now and I'd rather get it done as soon as possible. Thanks for your kind responses guys
goingsolo
Maybe you missed it, we had a bitch who was very clean during her seasons, the neighbourhood dogs gave it away, speak to vet and see if you can book her in.
robke
I would also have a chat with the vet. you are correct in the 3 month after season to get her spayed..

Maybe I have missed it. When I first got her she was already one and had her season within the first week of her being here and I found blood everywhere but the last one she had there was only a few drops here and there. It is every 6 months isn't it?
loudlucky
Smokey was every November and every April... Go figure on the 6 months thing, but it was close enough! They get 'cleaner' every time, I'm guessing they get better at cleaning themselves or bleed less Would definitely speak to the vet and hear what he thinks... Emma
Six months is the 'norm' but it can vary. I seem to recall that Storm's girl Skye was having seasons way more often than that. Sent via the power of rubbish tapatalk

jmscott
· Hidden Hidden Bitches go through a fertile period usually mid to late fall, and early spring. Twice a year but not necessarily every 6 months. Link to comment
