wolfpup Posted July 22, 2016 Report Share Posted July 22, 2016 Marley has very long, thick fur around his neck, - he is currently wearing one of the half choke collars - 75% tough material same as his lead and 25% chain - that only tightens up when it is attached to a lead - normally just hangs down loosely but does not fall off. However it is wearing away his fur - he now has a 2" wide ring around his neck where the fur has broken off to less than half its normal length. Can anyone suggest a collar that will not wear away his fur. I have heard of circular type collars that are not supposed to wear away fur - but not come across any. Keeonah Posted August 12, 2016 Report Share Posted August 12, 2016 I get all my stuff from Sid. All my racing harnesses leads, gang lines, link lines belts and semi slip collars. Just had to replace a couple of the harnesses but when you think about what they go through I reckon 2 years is pretty good going and I might add the old ones are still being used.
