Cold symptoms?

Hello,

i have an 8 month old husky, up to date on all her shots, exercises daily at the dog park and normally has a good amount of energy. The past couple days she has been very tired, not as playful, doesn't want to eat very much (but drinks a good amount), runny nose and eyes. Wondering if this sounds like the normal cold or something more? I'm trying to get her into a vet soon. Just wanted to see if anyone else has dealt with these symptoms.

Thanks!

Apparently dogs can get cold viruses although they are different strains to the human ones.

However, although it's possible that this is a cold virus it could also possibly be something else entirely.

Good luck at the vets. Hope all goes well. Xxx

One place I don't take my dogs is to dog parks.  Too often we have issues in our area with kennel cough, parvo, distemper being passed around at dog parks.  Don't have any control over how responsible others are for the dogs in their care.  Some are diligent about keeping their dogs up on meds, while some are not.  Just because a dog has been vaccinated for parvo, for example, does not make the dog immune. Play it safe and get to the vet.  It may be something simple, but could be something serious.
