Val (Zebedee) Posted February 24, 2010 Report Share Posted February 24, 2010 My motorbike insurance was up yesterday, I'm with one of motorbiking's biggest companies, Bennetts .... my insurance quote was £321 with 2 yrs no claims, fully comp, only 5,000 miles .... I thought "That's not cheap!" - so I shopped around with the usual "compare-us-all.com" types of sites, the quotes were coming back £150 - £160 I decided on the one I wanted & phoned Bennetts, the girl answered & asked why I was calling, I said to cancel my cover with them! She was a bit taken aback & asked why ... "because you're about £170 DEARER than other companies, like-for-like!" She didn't believe me & asked which company that was with, I reeled off about 6 names around that price .... then she looked on her pc, did a few adjustments, and came up with ................... £156 !!!!!!!!!! Robbing gits!! If I'd just let it roll or couldn't be bothered looking into it, I'd have paid double for my insurance! :angry: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
