rose Posted April 1, 2010 Report Share Posted April 1, 2010 Poor mishka has gone in today to check to see if she has a stone or something else going on in her bladder/kidneys as produced crystals, has high ph in her urine , this gone on for a while now also on a cd diet for her symptoms, not been much improvement though, vet will ring later to let me know of his findings so all pray please it isn't anything horrid & no op needed. rose Posted April 1, 2010 Author Report Share Posted April 1, 2010 well she has had a scan which showed nothing, the probe in her bladder etc showed only a red area near her uterus . they checked her urine & no crystals BUT she has just had a course of antibiotics which may of helped get rid of them but her acidity in urine is stil 7 something. She will be off antibiotics for 3 weeks , check her wee then & send some off to test if lots of crystals again & still high PH. He said that if the food isn't helping then we will try another normal diet like burns maybe. she has lost weight again after putting some on last week.,He is also thinking of refering her to a specialist now. He seems a bit stupmed as to what is actually going on in her urine as responds to antibiotics but can't be on them all the time. More updates will follow. rose Posted April 1, 2010 Author Report Share Posted April 1, 2010 thanx folks, she is very tired still but when i let the other 2 in to meet her she wagged her tail @ them so pleased to be home. Her vulva is a bit sore also vet said where she has been licking it. U ncomfortable too as had something put inside her bladder, poor girl just hope we get this sorted soon.
