Andy
Ok so me and Kelly are complete camping Newbies. Can someone with a LOT more experience provide us with a definitive list of what equipment / provisions we need to beg, steal, buy or borrow, for both Humans and Husky people. We have a Going Outdoors store nearby and we have friends who go camping etc. So we can source everything we need. We just need a list. Also food, do you sod off to McGruntles every few hours or do you all take camping stoves and cook it yourselves, or is there gonna be a communal BBQ every night. . .???? Are there Shower toilet facilities on camp or is those wet wipes we use for the dogs n squat behind a tree ?? What about keeping the chicken wings cool for 3 days?? anyone have a fridge??? or is there a decent supermarket nearby that will have enough chicken for ALL our huskies for three days. So we can buy it fresh. Koda loves kibble but it turns her into a Husky chocolate milkshake machine. so that option is out for us.
Wizadora
i'm new to this also, but i very much doubt we'll be squating behind trees and most campsites i've been to at least have toilets and sometimes showers too. and obviously you'll need a tent. KSNS
1st you need a tent lmao I'm not sure how this 1 will work but one i was at we had a kitty every one put in to we done £15 per person this coverd food though some of us brought our own drink..Most had cages for their dogs inside their tents or as it got cold they were in the beds for warmth lol. Toilets are generaly on site as well as shower points. We took our own toilet roll though as odd as it sounds i found theirs damp from the cold weather. Erm plates an knives an forks for defo. they had water points there for us to get the dogs drinks. but do take bottles of water to take on the dog walks. Get some very warm sleeping bags. Depends whats been arranged for te oct trip really. But cant wait for it my self. Good tents for sale at halfords emily got fantastic one fro £20 form there also seen what looks like a good one in argos on tv just now. saz is sorting this out so will have to see what her intentions are regarding food an stuff really. oh and dependig on what you feed you're dog be it raw meats etc an cool box is good idea. Sarah
lol think everything's been covered here I think we should all bring our own plates, knives / forks etc and just put money into a kitty to get food / drinks etc. We will be bringing a bbq but if anyone else has one then please bring that with you then we can have a few camp fires after we've eaten
