miss_lissa Posted May 31, 2010 Report Share Posted May 31, 2010 After alot of waiting around, we finally have brought Luna home She and her sister were no longer able to live with their owners as they had to move house and weren't aloud to have pets at the new place. So they were given to a friend to look after until they figured out what to do. Unfortunately, the owners weren't able to convince the real estate and so sadly they had to say goodbye. We found out about them through a friend of a friend who knew i was looking for another husky and after 2 looooong weeks of waiting to see what would happen to them, we took both girls home with us. We were able to find a home for Bella almost immediately with a friend. As much as we would have loved to have kept her, 3 huskies is just too much. We aren't too sure how old she is - we're guessing 3 months...? But they did come with papers so we're trying to get hold of them. It would be nice to know her birthday. Luna is settling in really well and Shadow just loves her. He is constantly annoying her to play, so much in fact that we have to seperate them occassionally just so she can get some sleep. I know Shadow is in Husky heaven right now because we recently took on Darwin and Koda / Daughtry hasn't stopped bugging him, playing, playfighting, chasing all over the house. absolutely loving it. Shame you couldn't keep both. Just one question does the home that Bella is going too have another dog?? if not she may suffer separation anxiety losing both her people and her sister. Yes the lady had a border collie cross kelpie. It is an older dog and was a bit grumpy at first but she rang me the other day and said they are getting along and playing now so that was good to hear.
