  1. So sorry for your loss. Run free Odin
  2. I have and wouldnt hesitate to use any means necessary to protect my dogs from injury. When Polee was attacked by a bull mastif in the vets reception I was punching and kicking the dog to get it off her. We have many off leash out of control dogs where I live so its always something thats at the forefront of my mind Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
  3. I would expect the third party liability insurance would cover you in case you're sued by the owner of the other animal Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
  4. Rip kitty If you dont already have insurance to cover you when mushing you may want to look into this. Note in the UK pet insurance doesn't cover you when mushing but I'm not sure if its the same in the US Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
  5. You may want to consider using joint supplements containing glucosamine which will help with mobility Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk

  7. Sorry to hear the very sad news of Big D's passing and can only hope you can find some solace in the memories you shared together. Run free Big D you will be deeply missed by all who knew you
  8. I'd like to go into space if money was no object
  9. Everything crossed that D will be feeling better soon Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
  10. The Shawshank Redemption or The Usual Suspects
  11. I had a similar problem with our Yorkshire Terrier who would whine from the moment she got in the car to the moment she got out. We eventually established that if she was held by a passenger in their lap she was a lot calmer. The effect is similar to that provided by the thunder shirt which has been used in recent years to help relieve anxiety in dogs and cats http://www.amazon.co.uk/Thundershirt-Anxiety-Coat-Dog-Grey/dp/B0029PYC3K/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1381558759&sr=8-1&keywords=thundershirts
  12. I'm surprised they bothered to sentence them at all as the sentence imposed is not a deterrent to anyone else who is doing the same thing. Would be better to give them a lifetime ban on keeping / breeding any animals plus forcing them to pay for all vet and kennel bills for all the dogs needing to be rehomed for the rest of their lives.
  13. I would query the bill with the garage if you didn't authorise the replacement of the thermostat and housing they shouldn't have done the work and instead only carried out the agreed work of running a diagnostic check. If you have no joy contact trading standards for some advice. At the very least you should only need to pay half the cost
  14. So sorry for your loss R.I.P. Bella
